Hammarby IF F11A

Hammarby IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Hammarby IF, 22 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Hammarby IF F11A could be found in Group 1 together with Slottskogen/Godhem, KFV Segeberg 1, Prep School Girls White and Makati FC. Hammarby IF F11A made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against FC New England, which they won with 4-3. Thereby Hammarby IF F11A won the entire Play off A in Girls 12 during Gothia Cup 2023. Hammarby comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Hässelby SK FF, IFK Lidingö, Boo FF, Järla IF, EKF Täby, Viginti Quattuor FC, IFK Haninge, IFK Bergshamra, Rågsveds IF and IFK Österåker).
