Trångfors IF

Trångfors IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14B. In addition to Trångfors IF, 30 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14B. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Trångfors IF could be found in Group 5 together with Örgryte IS, ProGen FC and Kvarnsvedens IK. Trångfors IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Askims IK with 0-3. In the Final, Kvarnsvedens IK won over Makati FC and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14B. Trångfors comes from Boden which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Boden does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (IFK Luleå, Sävast AIF, Bergnäsets AIK, Sunderby SK/Gammelstads IF and Gammelstads IF).
