Årsta FF

Årsta FF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Årsta FF, 64 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Årsta FF could be found in Group 11 together with Trelleborgs FF Academy, Norrstrands IF, Epsom and Ewell Colts FC and ATS Buntentor. Årsta FF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against FC Schweinfurt 05 with 0-1. In the Final, FC Schweinfurt 05 won over Eskilsminne IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 17. Årsta comes from Årsta which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Årsta does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Hässelby SK FF, IFK Lidingö, Boo FF, Järla IF, EKF Täby, Viginti Quattuor FC, IFK Haninge, IFK Bergshamra, Rågsveds IF and Åkersberga FC).
