ED Moratalaz

ED Moratalaz was one of 11 clubs from Spain that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to ED Moratalaz, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof ED Moratalaz could be found in Group 29 together with AFC Eskilstuna, Skillingaryds IS and VfL Westercelle. ED Moratalaz made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 29. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Lillestrøm SK 2, which they won with 1-0. Thereby ED Moratalaz won the entire Play off A in Boys 16 during Gothia Cup 2023. ED Moratalaz comes from Madrid which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Madrid does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (CD Móstoles URJC and Imperial Future).
