Slemmestad IF

Slemmestad IF was one of 56 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Slemmestad IF, 156 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 39 different groups, whereof Slemmestad IF could be found in Group 39 together with Onsala BK, Veberöds AIF and JSC Pitray-Olier Paris White. Slemmestad IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 39. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FC Levski (Karlovo) with 2-3. In the Final, Kista SC won over Pozzuolo Calcio 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Slemmestad comes from Asker which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Asker does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Dikemark IF, Ås IL, Strømmen IF, Kjelsås IL, Rælingen FK, Asker SKK, IL Heming, Eiker/Kvikk IF, Hasle-Løren IL and Lyn Fotball).
