IFK Wreta Kloster

IFK Wreta Kloster was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to IFK Wreta Kloster, 37 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof IFK Wreta Kloster could be found in Group 3 together with Gimse/Melhus/Gauldal, Furulunds IK, Näsets SK and Skogstorps GoIF. IFK Wreta Kloster made it to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Hovås-Billdal IF, which they won with 1-0. Thereby IFK Wreta Kloster won the entire Play off B in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2023. IFK Wreta Kloster comes from Vreta Kloster which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vreta Kloster does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Linghems SK, Mantorps FF, Mjölby AI/FF, IK Östria Lambohov, BK Ljungsbro, Svärtinge SK, Stångebro United, Borensbergs IF FK, IFK Norrköping and Tallboda IF).
