Hossmo BK

Hossmo BK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Hossmo BK, 74 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Hossmo BK could be found in Group 10 together with HSC Hannover, Eriksbergs IF and SK Haugar. Hossmo BK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Åsane IL with 0-6. In the Final, SV Eutingen won over AS Laval and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Hossmo comes from Kalmar which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kalmar does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (IFK Borgholm, Möre BK, Smedby BoIK, Team Södermöre, Färjestadens GoIF, Kalmar FF, IFK Berga, IFK Kalmar and Lindsdals IF).
