Ursvik IK

Ursvik IK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Ursvik IK, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Ursvik IK could be found in Group 43 together with Svärtinge SK, The Future Kid's School and Tune IL Fotball 1. Ursvik IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 43. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against AFC Eskilstuna with 0-3. In the Final, Russell Martin Academy won over SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Ursvik comes from Sundbyberg which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sundbyberg does also provide 65 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Hässelby SK FF, IFK Lidingö, Boo FF, Järla IF, EKF Täby, Viginti Quattuor FC, Sigtuna City FK, IFK Haninge, IFK Bergshamra and Rågsveds IF).
