Frändefors IF

Frändefors IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Frändefors IF, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Frändefors IF could be found in Group 28 together with SC Nienstedten, Atletico Real Morelos and IFK Eskilstuna 1. Frändefors IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 28. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Halvorstorps IS with 1-3. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Frändefors comes from Frändefors which lies approximately 86 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Frändefors does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Vänersborgs IF, Halvorstorp IS/Football Club Trollhättan, Halvorstorps IS, IFK Uddevalla, Herrestads AIF, Edet FK, IK Rössö Uddevalla and Trollhättans FK/Halvorstorps IS).
