TUS Berne

TUS Berne was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to TUS Berne, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof TUS Berne could be found in Group 44 together with Eriksbergs IF, IFK Aspudden-Tellus 1 and Soccer Arizona. TUS Berne continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 44. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Torslanda IK with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Berne comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 470 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hamburg does also provide 31 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: SV Groß Borstel, SV Blankenese, Eimsbütteler TV, JFV Südholstein, SG FCU - Kisdorf, Altona 93, SV Uhlenhorst-Adler, Walddörfer SV, KFV Segeberg and FC Este 2012).
