IL Heming

IL Heming was one of 56 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to IL Heming, 156 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 39 different groups, whereof IL Heming could be found in Group 8 together with Kortedala IK, Marin FC 1 and SC Nienstedten. IL Heming continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Eimsbütteler TV with 1-2. In the Final, Norrby IF won over San Francisco Deltas and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. IL Heming also participated in Boys 13 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/16 Final in B13 Play off A, but lost it against Saleby IF/Trässberg/NorraHärene with 0-1. Heming comes from Oslo which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Dikemark IF, Ås IL, Hønefoss BK, Strømmen IF, Kjelsås IL, Rælingen FK, Asker SKK, Hasle-Løren IL, Lyn Fotball and Oppsal IF).
