Mariehem SK

Mariehem SK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Mariehem SK, 81 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Mariehem SK could be found in Group 16 together with KFV Segeberg, Breidablik 1 and Stureby FF. Mariehem SK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Mälarhöjden/ Hägerstens FF with 5-6. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Jitex BK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Mariehem SK comes from Umeå which lies approximately 810 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Umeå does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (HTF, Mariehem SK/IFK Umeå, Tegs SK, Umeå Södra FF, Röbäcks IF, IFK Umeå, Gimonäs Umeå IF, Umedalens IF, Umeå IK FF and Sandåkerns SK).
