Linköpings FF

Linköpings FF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Linköpings FF, 109 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Linköpings FF could be found in Group 3 together with Strømmen IF, Euro Soccer Academy and RC Lens London. Linköpings FF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Anderstorp IF with 0-2. In the Final, Volf Soccer Academy won over Östersunds FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 17. Linköpings comes from Linköping which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Linghems SK, Mantorps FF, Mjölby AI/FF, IK Östria Lambohov, BK Ljungsbro, Svärtinge SK, Stångebro United, Borensbergs IF FK, IFK Norrköping and Tallboda IF).
