IFK Bergshamra

IFK Bergshamra was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to IFK Bergshamra, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof IFK Bergshamra could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Örby, St. Paul Blackhawks Lodge and IK Arvika Fotboll. IFK Bergshamra continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Mölnlycke IF with 0-2. In the Final, Stångebro United won over Lindö FF Norrköping and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. IFK Bergshamra comes from Solna which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Solna does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Hässelby SK FF, IFK Lidingö, Boo FF, Järla IF, EKF Täby, Viginti Quattuor FC, Sigtuna City FK, IFK Haninge, Rågsveds IF and Åkersberga FC).
