Sunnersta AIF

Sunnersta AIF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Sunnersta AIF, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Sunnersta AIF could be found in Group 57 together with Hasle-Løren IL 2, BK Höllviken/Skanör Falsterbo IF Red and Lindsdals IF. Sunnersta AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 57. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Barmbek-Uhlenhorst, HSV with 0-7. In the Final, Burgos CF won over BK Höllviken/Skanör Falsterbo IF Black and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Sunnersta AIF comes from Uppsala which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uppsala does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Bälinge IF, Sigtuna City FK, Dalkurd FF, Upsala IF, Bollstanäs SK, Gamla Upsala SK, Storvreta IK, Vaksala SK, Örsundsbro IF and IK Uppsala Fotboll).
