Slätta SK

Slätta SK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Slätta SK, 74 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Slätta SK could be found in Group 18 together with Lillestrøm SK, Tölö IF and Ulricehamns IFK. Slätta SK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Medkila IL with 7-8. In the Final, SV Eutingen won over AS Laval and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Slätta SK comes from Falun which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Falun does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Samuelsdals IF, Islingby IK, Kvarnsvedens IK, Falu BS FK and Korsnäs IF).
