Dorking Wanderers FC

Dorking Wanderers FC was one of 35 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Dorking Wanderers FC, 81 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Dorking Wanderers FC could be found in Group 8 together with IFK Västerås FK 1, Bergums IF and FC New England. Dorking Wanderers FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Playa with 1-4. In the Final, Hammarby IF FF won over KA 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Dorking Wanderers FC comes from London which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
