IFA Sports

IFA Sports was one of 8 clubs from United Arab Emirates that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14B. In addition to IFA Sports, 53 other teams from 11 different countries played in Boys 14B. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof IFA Sports could be found in Group 10 together with Sollentuna FK 1, Lilla Torg FF and FoC Farsta FF 1. IFA Sports continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Sollentuna FK 2 with 5-6. In the Final, Saleby/Trässberg/Norra Härene won over Hisingsbacka FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14B. IFA Sports comes from Dubai which lies approximately 5000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dubai does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Go-Pro Sports, Barca Academy Dubai, Desert Falcon FC, Empire FC and Desert Rangers Dubai).
