Husqvarna FF

Husqvarna FF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Husqvarna FF, 64 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Husqvarna FF could be found in Group 3 together with FC Schweinfurt 05, Mexico United FC and IFK Göteborg. Husqvarna FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Uppsala Fotboll with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over BK Häcken 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Husqvarna comes from Husk which lies approximately 140 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Husk does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Nosaby IF, Norrahammars GIS, Nässjö FF, Jönköpings Södra IF and Norrahammars IK).
