Höörs IS

Höörs IS was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Höörs IS, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Höörs IS could be found in Group 56 together with Alingsås IF, Braishfield Bees FC and Florø SK. Höörs IS continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 56. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Stocksund 1 with 1-3. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Höörs IS comes from Höör which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Höör does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Torns IF, Furulunds IK, Lunds BoiS/Torns IF, Hässleholms IF, Hörby FF, Kävlinge Harrie FF, Veberöds AIF, Hardeberga BK, Linero IF and Vinslövs IF).
