Munktorps BK

Munktorps BK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Munktorps BK, 109 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Munktorps BK could be found in Group 12 together with CD Mercedarios, IFK Eskilstuna and Seacoast United. Munktorps BK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Phoenix Football Academy with 0-2. In the Final, Volf Soccer Academy won over Östersunds FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 17. Munktorps comes from Köping which lies approximately 310 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Köping does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: IFK Västerås FK, Barkarö SK, Irsta IF, Skiljebo SK, IK Franke, AFC Eskilstuna, Torshälla-Nyby IS, Västerås IK, Eskilstuna United DFF and Jäders IF).
