SSV Plockhorst

SSV Plockhorst was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to SSV Plockhorst, 64 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof SSV Plockhorst could be found in Group 15 together with Skiljebo SK, IFK Lidingö FK and Trosvik IF. SSV Plockhorst continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lillestrøm SK with 0-9. In the Final, FC Schweinfurt 05 won over Eskilsminne IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 17. Plockhorst comes from Plockhorst which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Plockhorst does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (MTV Gifhorn, HSC Hannover and VfL Westercelle).
