Fusion FC

Fusion FC was one of 6 clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Fusion FC, 74 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Fusion FC could be found in Group 7 together with IFK Norrköping, Ronneby BK and IFK Västerås FK F16U. Fusion FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 1-2. In the Final, SV Eutingen won over AS Laval and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Fusion FC comes from Vancouver which lies approximately 7400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vancouver does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Volf Soccer Academy and Premier Soccer Academy).
