IFK Knislinge

IFK Knislinge was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IFK Knislinge, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof IFK Knislinge could be found in Group 8 together with Rælingen FK, Saltsjöbadens IF 2 and FC Ajax - Tallinn. IFK Knislinge continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Karlslunds IF HFK with 1-2. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over Lillestrøm SK 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. IFK Knislinge also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in B15 Play off B, but lost it against Mjällby AIF with 0-7. IFK Knislinge comes from Knislinge which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Knislinge does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Kristianstads DFF, Hässleholms IF, Vinslövs IF, Åhus IF, Wä IF, Kristianstad FC and Åhus HBK).
