Nynäshamn IF FK

Nynäshamn IF FK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14B. In addition to Nynäshamn IF FK, 30 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14B. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Nynäshamn IF FK could be found in Group 4 together with Sandsbro AIK, NSA, Karlbergs BK and FC Nokia Sinivalkoinen. Nynäshamn IF FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Tullinge TP with 5-6. In the Final, Kvarnsvedens IK won over Makati FC and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14B. Nynäshamn FK comes from Nyn which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nyn does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (IFK Haninge, IFK Stockholm, Pershagens SK, FoC Farsta FF, Västerhaninge IF, Ösmo GIF FK, KIF Söderort, Tullinge TP, Syrianska FC and Nordic United FC).
