Mönsterås GoIF

Mönsterås GoIF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Mönsterås GoIF, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Mönsterås GoIF could be found in Group 12 together with Fc Franconville PB, Lerums IS and IF Brommapojkarna. Mönsterås GoIF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ope IF with 4-5. In the Final, Stångebro United won over Lindö FF Norrköping and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Mönsterås GoIF comes from Mönsterås which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mönsterås does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (IFK Borgholm, Högsby IK, Kalmar FF, IFK Berga and Lindsdals IF).
