Laguna United FC

Laguna United FC was one of 46 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Laguna United FC, 193 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Laguna United FC could be found in Group 37 together with Prep Schools Lions Blue, Sandarna BK 2 and IF Brommapojkarna Red. Laguna United FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 37. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Örebro SK 2 with 6-7. In the Final, Minerva Academy FC won over Ordin FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Laguna United FC comes from Laguna Niguel which lies approximately 8800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Laguna Niguel does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (SOCAL ELITE FC and PSC Soccer).
