Fagersta Södra IK

Fagersta Södra IK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Fagersta Södra IK, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Fagersta Södra IK could be found in Group 50 together with IFK Fjärås, Segeltorps IF, Lycée International St Germain en Laye and USCH 2. Fagersta Södra IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 50. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against USCH 1 with 4-5. In the Final, Russell Martin Academy won over SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Fagersta Södra comes from Fagersta which lies approximately 330 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Fagersta does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Västanfors IF and Sätra IF).
