Guildford Saints

Guildford Saints was one of 35 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Guildford Saints, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Guildford Saints could be found in Group 15 together with Karlbergs BK 1, HTF and Pinneberg, VfL. Guildford Saints continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lindö FF Norrköping with 0-3. In the Final, Stångebro United won over Lindö FF Norrköping and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Guildford Saints comes from Guildford which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Guildford does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Kingswood TFC, Harrow School, Sporting Duet FC, Shepherds Bush FC, London Tigers FC, Foxes FC, Phoenix Football Academy, Escalate Elite FC, Epsom and Ewell Colts FC and Phoenix Football Academy (Ukraine)).
