Ystads IF FF

Ystads IF FF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Ystads IF FF, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Ystads IF FF could be found in Group 40 together with Djurgårdens IF, SG Findorff, London Tigers FC and Sollefteå GIF FF. Ystads IF FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 40. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FC MNVDB with 3-4. In the Final, Burgos CF won over BK Höllviken/Skanör Falsterbo IF Black and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Ystads comes from Ystad which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ystad does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Veberöds AIF, Skabersjö IF, Tomelilla IF and Skurups AIF).
