Sigtuna City FK

Sigtuna City FK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Sigtuna City FK, 193 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Sigtuna City FK could be found in Group 8 together with Malmö City FC, SC Nienstedten and GAIS 1. Sigtuna City FK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ascot United FC with 1-4. In the Final, Murchante FC won over IK Östria Lambohov 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Sigtuna City FK comes from Sigtuna which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sigtuna does also provide 45 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Hässelby SK FF, IFK Lidingö, EKF Täby, Viginti Quattuor FC, IFK Bergshamra, Dalkurd FF, Upsala IF, IFK Österåker, Täby FK and IK Frej Täby).
