Borensbergs IF FK

Borensbergs IF FK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Borensbergs IF FK, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Borensbergs IF FK could be found in Group 54 together with Visby AIK, St Lawrence and Barmbek-Uhlenhorst, HSV. Borensbergs IF FK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 54. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against BK Ljungsbro with 0-3. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Borensbergs FK comes from Borensberg which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borensberg does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Linghems SK, Mantorps FF, Mjölby AI/FF, IK Östria Lambohov, BK Ljungsbro, Stångebro United, Tallboda IF, Linköpings FF, IFK Wreta Kloster and Mjölby Södra IF).
