Skabersjö IF

Skabersjö IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Skabersjö IF, 50 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Skabersjö IF could be found in Group 8 together with BK Häcken 3, Academia Sebastian Roco and NK Prečko. Skabersjö IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Legacy Academy with 3-4. In the Final, Norrby IF won over Academia Sebastian Roco and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. Skabersjö comes from Svedala which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Svedala does also provide 34 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: IF Lödde, Ystads IF FF, FC Staffanstorp, Torns IF, Kungsbacka IF, GIF Nike, Furulunds IK, Uppåkra IF, Lunds BoiS/Torns IF and Skanör-Falsterbo IF).
