Rågsveds IF

Rågsveds IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Rågsveds IF, 97 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Rågsveds IF could be found in Group 24 together with FC Infonet Tallinn 1, Sandarna BK and Diamond FC. Rågsveds IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against AFC Järfälla with 1-9. In the Final, Barca CFIS won over FC New England and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Rågsveds comes from Bandhagen which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bandhagen does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Hässelby SK FF, IFK Lidingö, Boo FF, Järla IF, EKF Täby, Viginti Quattuor FC, IFK Haninge, IFK Bergshamra, Hammarby IF and IFK Österåker).
