Escalate Elite FC

Escalate Elite FC was one of 35 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Escalate Elite FC, 89 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Escalate Elite FC could be found in Group 5 together with V. Frölunda IF, SV Rugenbergen and Furulunds IK. Escalate Elite FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ale United with 4-5. In the Final, UF Comércio e Indústria won over Qviding FIF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Escalate Elite FC comes from London which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around London does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Kingswood TFC, Harrow School, Sporting Duet FC, Regents Park FC, Shepherds Bush FC, London Tigers FC, European Football Academy, Foxes FC, Epsom and Ewell Colts FC and RC Lens London).
