Section Elite Academy

Section Elite Academy was one of 25 clubs from France that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Section Elite Academy, 193 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Section Elite Academy could be found in Group 4 together with FC New England, IF Brommapojkarna White and Örgryte IS 1. Section Elite Academy continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against CD Mercedarios with 1-3. In the Final, Minerva Academy FC won over Ordin FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Section Elite Academy comes from Argenteuil which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Argenteuil does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: AFC Ermont, JSC Pitray-Olier Paris, FC Saint Cloud, US Montesson, Académie Bakhore Cissé, FC MNVDB, UAC Paris 12, FC Villennes Orgeval, JFF Academy and Marly La Ville ES).
