Diamond FC

Diamond FC was one of four clubs from Kenya that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Diamond FC, 97 other teams from 20 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Diamond FC could be found in Group 24 together with FC Infonet Tallinn 1, Sandarna BK and Rågsveds IF. Diamond FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Sisukas FC with 0-3. In the Final, GAIS 2 won over Prep Schools Lions Red and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Diamond FC comes from Nairobi which lies approximately 6900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Diamond FC, the club Legacy Academy does also originate from the area around Nairobi.
