IFK Stockholm

IFK Stockholm was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IFK Stockholm, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof IFK Stockholm could be found in Group 39 together with Ramlösa Södra IF 1, Kjelsås IL 2 and FC MNVDB. IFK Stockholm continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 39. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IFK Haninge with 0-1. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over Lillestrøm SK 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. IFK Stockholm comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 65 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Hässelby SK FF, IFK Lidingö, Boo FF, Järla IF, EKF Täby, Nynäshamn IF FK, Viginti Quattuor FC, IFK Haninge, IFK Bergshamra and Rågsveds IF).
