Norrahammars GIS

Norrahammars GIS was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14B. In addition to Norrahammars GIS, 53 other teams from 12 different countries played in Boys 14B. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Norrahammars GIS could be found in Group 9 together with Essviks AIF, IF Leikin Black and Chico Sporting Club. Norrahammars GIS continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Saleby/Trässberg/Norra Härene with 0-8. In the Final, Saleby/Trässberg/Norra Härene won over Hisingsbacka FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14B. Norrahammars GIS comes from Norrahammar which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Norrahammar does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Nosaby IF, Nässjö FF, Skillingaryds IS, Husqvarna FF, Dalstorps IF, Jönköpings Södra IF and Norrahammars IK).
