HSC Hannover

HSC Hannover was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to HSC Hannover, 74 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof HSC Hannover could be found in Group 10 together with Eriksbergs IF, SK Haugar and Hossmo BK. HSC Hannover continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ronneby BK with 1-3. In the Final, Mölnlycke IF won over New Mill FC and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. HSC Hannover also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/32 Final in G15 Play off B, but lost it against Selånger SK with 0-1. HSC Hannover comes from Hannover which lies approximately 610 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hannover does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (VfL Westercelle and SSV Plockhorst).
