Currie Star FC

Currie Star FC was the only club from Scotland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Currie Star FC, 262 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Currie Star FC could be found in Group 15 together with Lunds BK 1, Vänersborgs IF and Rælingen FK. Currie Star FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/128 Final, but lost it against Sätra IF with 1-2. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Currie Star FC comes from Edinburgh which lies approximately 950 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
