Mighty Eagles Academy

Mighty Eagles Academy was one of four clubs from Kenya that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Mighty Eagles Academy, 109 other teams from 20 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Mighty Eagles Academy could be found in Group 2 together with Escola Futebol Faro, Näsets SK, Dänischenhagen/Kiel, MTV and Norrtulls SK 2. Mighty Eagles Academy continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Adolfsbergs IK with 0-1. In the Final, Volf Soccer Academy won over Östersunds FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 17. Mighty Eagles Academy comes from Kitale which lies approximately 6600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
