Sandsbro AIK

Sandsbro AIK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14B. In addition to Sandsbro AIK, 30 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14B. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Sandsbro AIK could be found in Group 4 together with NSA, Karlbergs BK, FC Nokia Sinivalkoinen and Nynäshamn IF FK. Sandsbro AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Myssjö/Ovikens IF with 4-5. In the Final, Jönköpings Södra IF won over ATSV Scharmbeckstotel and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14B. Sandsbro AIK comes from Växjö which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Sandsbro AIK, the club Växjö DFF does also originate from the area around Växjö.
