Jäders IF

Jäders IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Jäders IF, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Jäders IF could be found in Group 47 together with Modern Football Academy, JFV Concordia Wümme and Tune IL Fotball 2. Jäders IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 47. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ursvik IK with 1-2. In the Final, Russell Martin Academy won over SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Jäders comes from Eskilstuna which lies approximately 330 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Eskilstuna does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: IFK Västerås FK, Barkarö SK, Irsta IF, Skiljebo SK, IK Franke, AFC Eskilstuna, Torshälla-Nyby IS, Västerås IK, Munktorps BK and Eskilstuna United DFF).
