NK Bubamara

NK Bubamara was one of two clubs from Croatia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to NK Bubamara, 50 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof NK Bubamara could be found in Group 6 together with Sisukas FC, KIF Söderort and BK Häcken 1. NK Bubamara continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Legacy Academy with 2-3. In the Final, Norrby IF won over Academia Sebastian Roco and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. NK Bubamara comes from ZAGREB which lies approximately 1400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than NK Bubamara, the club NK Prečko does also originate from the area around ZAGREB.
