Veberöds AIF

Veberöds AIF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Veberöds AIF, 156 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 39 different groups, whereof Veberöds AIF could be found in Group 39 together with Slemmestad IF, Onsala BK and JSC Pitray-Olier Paris White. Veberöds AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 39. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Breidablik 1 with 0-5. In the Final, Norrby IF won over San Francisco Deltas and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Veberöds AIF comes from Veber which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Veber does also provide 37 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: IF Lödde, Ystads IF FF, FC Staffanstorp, Torns IF, Kungsbacka IF, GIF Nike, Furulunds IK, Uppåkra IF, Lunds BoiS/Torns IF and Hörby FF).
