Epsom and Ewell Colts FC

Epsom and Ewell Colts FC was one of 35 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Epsom and Ewell Colts FC, 64 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Epsom and Ewell Colts FC could be found in Group 11 together with Trelleborgs FF Academy, Norrstrands IF, ATS Buntentor and Årsta FF. Epsom and Ewell Colts FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against BK Häcken 2 with 1-3. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over BK Häcken 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Epsom and Ewell Colts FC comes from Sutton which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sutton does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Kingswood TFC, Harrow School, Sporting Duet FC, Regents Park FC, Shepherds Bush FC, London Tigers FC, European Football Academy, Foxes FC, Escalate Elite FC and RC Lens London).
