Enångers IK

Enångers IK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Enångers IK, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Enångers IK could be found in Group 14 together with Foxes FC, Angered MBIK and Desert Rangers Dubai. Enångers IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Storfors AIK with 1-3. In the Final, Russell Martin Academy won over SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Enångers comes from Enånger which lies approximately 520 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Enånger does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Stugsunds IK and Norrala IF).
