Oldesloe, VFL

Oldesloe, VFL was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Oldesloe, VFL, 193 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Oldesloe, VFL could be found in Group 5 together with Järla IF 2, Prep Schools Lions Sky and Solängens BK 2. Oldesloe, VFL continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Jaguares Nuevo León with 0-3. In the Final, Murchante FC won over IK Östria Lambohov 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Oldesloe, comes from Bad Oldesloe which lies approximately 450 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bad Oldesloe does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: SV Groß Borstel, Eimsbütteler TV, JFV Südholstein, SG FCU - Kisdorf, SV Uhlenhorst-Adler, Walddörfer SV, KFV Segeberg, SV West-Eimsbüttel, FC Nordic Tigers e.V. and TUS Berne).
