Värnamo Södra FF

Värnamo Södra FF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Värnamo Södra FF, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Värnamo Södra FF could be found in Group 16 together with Iberia, Nosaby IF White and Nidelv IL. Värnamo Södra FF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Torns IF 1 with 1-2. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Värnamo Södra comes from Värnamo which lies approximately 140 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Värnamo does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Skillingaryds IS and Anderstorp IF).
